As dozens of forest fires continue to burn in northern and northeastern Ontario, residents hope the weather will shift.
Kenora district partnership aims to improve First Nations student housing, safety
The Kenora District Services Board and the Windigo First Nations Council have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that sees them pooling their resources to build purpose-built housing accessible to students and families, said the board's chief administrative officer, Henry Wall. It will also provide them with needed services and address safety concerns for students who travel to go to school.
