Provincial police are appealing for the public's help in an investigation into a hit-and-run collision that left a 20-year-old Port Hope man dead seven years ago.

Provincial police are appealing for the public's help in an investigation into a hit-and-run collision that left a 20-year-old Port Hope man dead seven years ago.

Police say Chad Everets was struck and killed by a vehicle on Cockshutt Road in Norfolk County on May 14th of 2011.

The O-P-P says the vehicle that struck Everets never stopped and left the scene of the collision that occurred around 5:17 a-m.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen Everets or the suspect vehicle that morning to contact police.
