Police are looking for a suspect they say robbed a CIBC branch on Wilson Street West in Ancaster on Wednesday.

The robbery happened around 2:30 p.m. A man came into the bank and showed a note to a bank teller, demanding money. He took some money – the amount of which police are not disclosing – from the bank teller's till and left, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, around 6 feet tall with a thin build. Police said he was wearing sunglasses, a black hoodie, a yellow jacket, grey pants, black boots and black gloves.

Police hope anyone with information will get in touch with them or Crime Stoppers.
